Vicopisano is a small Rural District with 8,000 inhabitants; it covers a surface of 26,92 sq.Km. and is part of Pisa’s County Council.
 
Beside the chief village, Vicopisano, the District covers other smaller villages, San Giovanni alla Vena, Cucigliana, Lugnano, Uliveto Terme and
Caprona.

Vicopisano District is at a very short distance from the exit “Cascina” off the FI-PI-LI highway and close to the main road network that links Cascina-Pontedera district to Bientina, Altopascio and the other Districts of the County Council of Lucca. In spite of that, the town centre is clear by heavy traffic and it offers a high quality life style, quiet, plenty of open spaces, and clean air.
 
Here is a short guide to our location:
 
From Florence:
- FI-PI-LI highway, come off “Pontedera” exit, go on towards Bientina for 3 Km, then follow the signs to Vicopisano.
- Motorway A11 towards Pisa, come off “Altopascio” exit, go on towards Bientina for 10 Km, then follow the signs to Vicopisano.
 
From Lucca:
Follow the signs to Guamo for about 6 Km, go on towards Pontedera for 10 Km., go through Cascine di Buti and turn right at the traffic light on the ‘Serezza’ bridge towards Vicopisano (2 Km.)
 
From Pisa:
- FI-PI-LI highway towards Firenze, come off “Cascina” exit and turn left, then follow the signs to Vicopisano for 7 Km.
 
From Leghorn:
Take the "Arnaccio" road towards Pontedera and go on for 15 Km, turn left at Cascina traffic lights, then follow the signs to Vicopisano for 7 Km.
